Current Exhibition: From This To That

Albany Center Gallery (ACG) presents From This To That. The exhibition runs from July 23 to August 23, 2024. Curated by Katherine Kim, this exhibit features the works of 14 local and regional artists: Royal Brown, Pauline Decarmo, Kristen DeFontes, Stuart Farmery, Abraham Ferraro, Elisa Lendvay, Tom McGill, Joel Olzak, Justin O’Rourke, Stacy Petty, Mary Richmond, Lydia Sharp & Jackie Zysk, and Corey Solinger. An Artists’ Reception will be held on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 5 - 8 p.m. From This To That is free and open to the public; Tuesday - Saturday, Noon - 5 p.m.

THIS SATURDAY: Summer Art Fest

Please join us for the inaugural year of Summer Art Fest on Saturday, July 27 from 2:00 pm - 7:00 pm. It'll be a free, immersive ALL AGES arts festival in Downtown Albany. 

There will be an outdoor pop-up gallery, live artists, kids art corner, community partners and vendors, public art, refreshments, music, and oh - so much more! We hope to see you there. Just show up!

Art.Work.Space monthly youth workshops

ACG hosts monthly youth art workshops (coined Art.Work.Space.) in partnership with The RED Bookshelf and Honest Weight Food Co-op. The programs are led by local artist mentors on the 2nd Saturday of each month throughout the year. The themes of the workshops dependent on what the youth want and the medium(s) of each artist. We plan to have workshops in writing, mural painting, screen printing, comic book making, collaging, clothing design, graphic design, watercolor painting, music, poetry, literacy, and more!
