With almost a decade at 488 Broadway, Albany Center Gallery is excited for its move just up the block at 48 N Pearl St. This downtown Albany location will better accommodate a larger staff and support rapidly growing programs, projects, events, and initiatives. This move is more than a change of address; it’s a commitment to more art, more access, and more community. It will also create increased street visibility and foot traffic, a larger youth art space, and a working environment that enhances staff needs. In the last five years, ACG increased its capacity from three employees to seven. Additionally, we work with over 400 artists annually! The organization needs a space that reflects this exponential growth.
 
ACG is proud to be open for all and offer free admission to exhibitions, pop-ups, receptions, public art, and programs. You and your support make this possible – especially now. Help us keep art free and accessible to the public at 48 N Pearl St!

We promise our unwavering commitment to increasing access to art and supporting the region’s diverse community to provide equitable experiences for all artists and art lovers! In 2025, ACG paid over $150,000 to artists directly- through commissions, stipends, paid gigs, awards, and more. With your contributions, Albany Center Gallery will sustain its impactful programming and continue redistributing funds to fairly compensate local artists for their time and talent.
