Light Within Layers

The exhibition runs from January 28 to February 28, 2025Light Within Layers features the works of 8 local and regional artists: Cyndy Barbone, Paula Drysdale-Frazell, Ana Maria Farina, Leah Frankel, Mari Keeler-Cornwell, Lydia Kinney, Carol Levine, and James Paulsen. An Artists' Reception will be held on Friday, February 7, 2025 from 5 - 8 p.m.

2024 Members' Show 

This year’s Members' Show will be held from Friday, December 6, 2024 through Saturday, January 11, 2025. An Artists’ Reception with an awards ceremony will be hosted on Friday, December 6, 2024 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m, with awards starting at 6:30 p.m. $1,000 in cash prizes will be distributed! This exhibition features over 200 artists!

2025 Albany Chef's Food & Wine Festival: Wine and Dine for the Arts

ACG is excited to be selected as one of the Premier Beneficiaries for the 2025 Albany Chefs' Food & Wine Festival: Wine & Dine for the Arts.

The 3-day weekend festival will be from January 23 - 25, 2025. We hope to see you there! Tickets are on sale already.

In partnership with the City of Amsterdam NY, the Amsterdam NY Public Arts Committee, and Albany Center Gallery, we are accepting submissions for future outdoor projects and are inviting local and regional artists who live within 100 miles radius of Amsterdam, NY to submit their work for consideration.

Art.Work.Space monthly youth workshops

ACG hosts monthly youth art workshops (coined Art.Work.Space.) in partnership with The RED Bookshelf and Honest Weight Food Co-op. The programs are led by local artist mentors on the 2nd Saturday of each month throughout the year. The themes of the workshops dependent on what the youth want and the medium(s) of each artist. We plan to have workshops in writing, mural painting, screen printing, comic book making, collaging, clothing design, graphic design, watercolor painting, music, poetry, literacy, and more!
