Robert Cooper has been a photographer and journalist for 10 years. His photography fluidly encompasses portraits, fashion, concerts, and events. His photos and writing have been published in the New African Woman magazine, Essence, Black Hair Magazine, the Hartford Advocate, and The Alt.

His photographic eye has been used by various poets for their book and album covers, as well as by music artists for their album covers and promotions. He has had his photos in art showcases in Springfield, Ma., Hartford, Ct., Manchester, Ct., Troy, NY. and Waterford, NY. He is also a Hip Hop enthusiast, frequently documenting and researching Hip Hop culture: past, present, and future.

Truemaster, or DJ Trumastr, is an international touring DJ based out of Albany, New York. Infused with a rich knowledge of music, this creative innovator spins infectious blends that transcend both cultural and generational boundaries. Although mostly inspired by the classic sounds of Jazz, Funk, Hip Hop, R&B and Soul, DJ Trumastr’s skill on the decks knows no limit. A master of versatility, this DJ/producer can rock any party from small private events to the big stage. DJ Trumastr was an opening act for known artists such as…M.O.P, Talib Kweli, Jean Grae, Busta Rhymes, Redman, Method Man, Wu-Tang Clan, Public Enemy, Masta Ace & Marco Polo, Snoop Dog, Brand Nubian, Onyx, Rob Swift, MGK, Sam Adams, Oddisee, Santigold and De La Soul & many more. Trumastr also founded SayITru Weddings and Beat*Shot Music Productions.

TC Weaver aka REZONES aka one half of the dynamic duo known as BOOGIEREZ is a self-taught visual artist. Starting out in the early 80’s with graffiti art... The platform eventually brought him to graphic design, which eventually led him to photography. His primary sources of inspiration are his life’s experiences as well as his environment. Pulling heavily from his trials and tribulations as a youth growing up in Long Island, Brooklyn, New Jersey and Poughkeepsie. Then folding in his love for hip hop as well as its connecting elements (sci-fi, anime, martial arts, and comic books) he’s been able to craft works that are oddly familiar but at the same time strikingly different. REZONES founded the organization HIP HOP 101 at Vassar College over a decade ago. BoogieRez has created murals all over the world, from New York (NYC, Albany, Poughkeepsie) to Barcelona to Miami.

Risa Tochigi, aka Riiisa Boogie, is one half of the dynamic duo boogieREZ. Boogie is a Japanese Ameri- can artist who crafts detailed imagery through textile, nature, portraits, flowing abstractions and uniquely creative characters. Her body of work taps into the flow of the streets, nature and the vibrations of dance and culture. Her creative spirit blends the technical mastery of traditional Japanese prints with urban imagery, materials and locations.

She is an illustrator, painter, maker and a muralist who truly lives life to the fullest. She can’t stop, won’t stop creating! She works on a wide range of projects in a number of mediums. Recently, she has been deeply involved in using plywood to bring her illustrations to life. Her imagination and love of nature and design has led her to create many organically inspired pieces.

She believes visual art is an extremely vital component of life. She is always experimenting with different processes and pushing the boundaries. Her deep need to help others is rooted in her work.

Their studio is a blend of music, photography, illustration, painting, graphic design, dance, fashion design, sculpture and whatever else they can get our hands on.
