COVID-19 Tribute
Artist Rachel Baxter created a moveable mural, Still Life, With Gratitude, to serve as a visual tribute to honor loved ones lost due to COVID-19, those who have recovered, and our frontline workers who have kept our communities safe and strong. This mural will travel across the Capital Region from March 23 - April 3, 2021.
D. Colin, Troy-based artist and poet, recited an original poem entitled "What we have now about remembering, healing and moving forward" on Thursday, April 1 at 3 p.m. and Friday, April 2 at 5 p.m. at the mural site, Albany Institute of History and Art.
