In partnership with The City of Amsterdam and local artist Phoebe Rotter, Albany Center Gallery is excited to present “Golden Hour”!

Located at 54 Bridge St in Amsterdam, NY

Words from the artist Phoebe: “When researching for this mural, I was returned often to the history of labor in Amsterdam. The hands that built, wove, and planted remain present in the architecture of the city and the shapes of the landscape: their marks perpetuate and evolve as new generations add to and stretch the existing structures. Humans and nature are the same, and I wanted to visualize a harmonious relationship between these familiar shapes: reaching hands, native plants, and the winding river.”
