CALLING ALL ARTISTS!
ACG is hosting a Pop-up OUTDOOR Gallery during the Summer Art Fest on Saturday, July 19. Something NEW this year, is there will ALSO be a Zine Vendor Market (curated by Paper Moon), included with this call for art is an opportunity to submit to that as well. If you would like to submit to both the Pop-up Gallery AND to be considered as a Zine Vendor, SUBMIT TWICE.

Please read carefully for the guidelines for the Pop-up Gallery and Zine Vendors. There are SEPARATE GUIDELINES.
Pop-up Gallery Guidelines:

Submit up to three pieces of artwork for consideration, along with the title, medium, dimensions, year (if known) and price of each work.

Maximum artwork size is 36”x36” including frame or matting due to space constraints. Artists who submit multiple smaller works have a higher likelihood of showcasing more than one. If the work or frame/matting is larger than 36”, we cannot accept or hang the work.

All two-dimensional artwork is welcome. Work must not need an outlet and must be able to be hung on a wall.

If you have three-dimensional or sculptural work and are interested in applying, please email Emily at operations@albanycentergallery.org

Images must be saved as .jpg, 150 dpi or larger, color.

Save images as “Lastname_Firstname_Title.jpg”

Back of work must be labeled with artist name, email, phone number, and title.
Pop-up Gallery Submission:

Submission is FREE. Deadline: Friday, June 27, 2025 @ 11:59 P.M.

We will notify you by Friday, July 4, 2025 if your work is selected for this pop-up

If your work is selected there is no fee for members of Albany Center Gallery, and a $15 fee for non-ACG members. This is per person, not per piece. Join/Renew your ACG membership here

All submissions must be sent through Submittable.com. It is free to sign up. No emailed submissions will be accepted.
Pop-up Gallery Commission:

If you ARE an ACG member, ACG will take a 15% commission on sold artwork. Please include this in your pricing.

If you are NOT an ACG member, ACG will take a 25% commission on sold artwork.
Artwork Drop-Off: Drop-off date is Wednesday, July 16, and Thursday, July 17, between 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. at Albany Center Gallery (488 Broadway, Suite 107, Albany, NY 12207). All artwork must be suitably framed, wired and ready to hang. If it is not able to hang safely, ACG will not install the piece. Please note that there is wind and we will not take any chances. Albany Center Gallery is unable to store or mail artwork back.
Artwork Pick-Up: Please plan to pick up your work between 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 19 at the Summer Art Fest location. We will call you if your work is sold. If this time does not work for you, please confirm alternate arrangements to pick up your work at the time of drop off or upon acceptance.
Please Note: If work is left behind, there will be a $5/day fee for transportation & storage. ACG is not responsible for any damage for the duration of drop off, during the event, or until pickup; this event is rain or shine. ACG’s Pop-up Gallery will be under a tent and/or overhead covering.
Zine Vendor Guidelines:

Each individual to bring their own table and chairs. Each vendor will have a designated space of 5' x 8'. Please be mindful to keep within the space given.

Event will be held on Saturday, July 19, 2025, from Noon - 5:00 p.m. Individuals should stay for the duration of the event.

All accepted and participating individuals must arrive between 10:30 A.M. and 11:15 A.M. on Saturday, July 19, 2025, to set up. Space must be ready by 11:30 A.M.
Zine Vendor Submission:

Submission is FREE. Deadline: Friday, June 27, 2025 @ 11:59 P.M.

If you are selected as a zine vendor, there is a $25 - 50 sliding scale vendor fee for members of Albany Center Gallery, and a $40 - 75 sliding scale vendor fee for non-ACG members. Join/Renew your ACG membership here

All fees must be paid to ACG by Friday, July 11, 2025. Your spot will only be reserved once we receive the payment of fees. Please note the fees are non-refundable.
