In partnership with local artist Ramiro Davaro-Comas and the Department of Psychiatry at Albany Medical Center, Albany Center Gallery (ACG) is proud to present “Healing”

This mural was created in May, which is Mental Health Awareness Month, and is located inside the inpatient psychiatric unit at Albany Medical Center. 

Words from the Artist Ramiro: "The mural called ‘Healing’ was created in collaboration with Albany Center Gallery. As an artist, I believe that everybody deserves some color in their lives and in the area that they spend time in. I was very excited to be able to participate in this project and create something for the residents that live and come through this unit. I hope that the mural that we painted will bring some peace and joy to everyone there. I hope that this can be the start of bringing more art into hospitals!”
