"Geraldine's Reverie" by Liz Zunon

"Geraldine's Reverie" by Liz Zunon, completed in August 2018, is located along Clinton Avenue off-ramp from I-787 and across from the north side of the Quackenbush Garage and is inspired by the "overall freedom of expression that the arts and entertainment bring to our lives".  The work of the Albany-born artist is largely influenced by her childhood in Africa, the places she’s travelled to and the people she’s met along the way. The vibrant and brightly-colored mural explores what it means to Liz Zunon to be an artist, and the joy that is felt from the freedom to create or enjoy an art piece.
