We are excited to share that Albany Center Gallery has been selected to receive the Stand for the Arts Award. This award means so much to us, as we strive to improve art access for all by creating programs & projects that bring art and community together, as well as provide a space that showcases and promotes the talented artists of this region. As we continue to grow, we prioritize the importance of growing with the community by highlighting the voices of artists and community members.
Stand for the Arts Awards are granted based on how well an organization empowers the community, builds strategic partnerships, drives engagement through volunteerism and delivers creative programming. Ovation TV, America's only arts network, partnered with Charter Communications, Inc. in 2019 to recognize outstanding local arts, cultural, and educational organizations and programs in 12 of Charter's Spectrum markets across the country.
We’d like to thank our staff, board of directors, artists, volunteers, interns, community members, community partners and all of you for your unwavering support over the years. We are fortunate to have your assistance and look forward to building a region that truly gives art access for all and working with more communities and artists. Thank you!
