A move to another city is among the most drastic options being considered by management of the gallery nearly 40 years after being founded in Albany. The gallery chose not to renew the lease on its downtown location for the past decade, at 39 Columbia St., after it expires at the end of this year. Its rent, which the gallery's director and sole full-time staffer, Tony Iadicicco, said has risen more than 40 percent over the 10 years on Columbia Street, was going to go up again, and the gallery's board of directors opted to look for new quarters.
