Development Assistant(s)

This candidate is someone who is interested in fundraising and event planning. Additional hours will be scheduled in agreement with the Executive Director. Approximately 60 – 120 hours per semester.

Examples of work include, but are not limited to the following:

Research funding and grant opportunities


Assist in coordination of solicitation mailings and processing donations


Generate membership acknowledgement and renewal letters


Maintain office files and office organization


Organize the existing art- and space-rental programs, and field incoming rental inquiries


Assist with the planning and execution of events


Work with Marketing Intern to coordinate promotion of events


Work with artists, visitors and vendors in a variety of settings

Candidate Requirements: 

Well organized


Strong attention to detail


Analytic ability


Proficiency with Microsoft Office


Dependable


Self-motivated


Efficient


Experience with or interest in community building
