"Entrapped" by Carl Warren
Title: "Entrapped"
Artist Carl Warren's Statement:
"‘Entrapped’ was initially created during the peak of the COVID pandemic, and this year it has been reworked and scaled up. This artwork represents isolation and explores the kind of 'monster' it can create. Although this 'monster' is free to roam, it remains confined within a sorely outgrown home. It is unknowingly violent and in uncomfortable agony. Only a bright light can temporarily halt the rampage."
Location: Quackenbush Square (across from Common Roots Brewing, underneath the skyway)
Medium: Mixed media on plywood
