Register now for the next Art.Work.Space. Workshop: 🎨 The Basics of Spray Paint with Artist Mentor Ramiro Davaro-Comas!

This workshop will be on Saturday, July 13 from 1 – 4 p.m. Register (free) at the link below by Thursday, 7/11!

Students will have the chance to learn the basics of spray painting and work on a collaborative piece with artist and educator Ramiro Davaro-Comas. Participants will get to try out different style cans and caps and will be shown a variety of different techniques. This is a one of a kind opportunity to get to learn how to use spray paint, ask questions and paint something together! Masks and gloves will be provided.

 

About the Artist Mentor: Ramiro Davaro-Comas is an Argentine/American artist with a background in public art and arts education. His passions for painting, storytelling, and community work have pushed him to travel throughout his career, collaborating with artists around the world. He has painted over 200 murals, worked with thousands of students and is constantly pushing his public art work.

He is currently co-directing Super Stories, an organization he launched with artist Grace Lang that focuses on art centered story telling projects in community spaces. Their motto is - If you know something, teach it!

 

The workshop is free, and there is limited space in order to foster a proactive learning environment. Registration is REQUIRED. No prior knowledge or experience in the arts nor topic of specific workshop is necessary. Please include a valid email with registration.
