About the Workshop: Join us for a block printing workshop led by local artist Maeve McCool! In this class, we will learn techniques to carve designs into a linoleum block “stamp”, which can be printed onto paper, fabric, and clothes. We will begin with a demonstration of the process, then jump in to making our own funky designs! All skill levels are welcome to join in and experiment with printmaking. Participants are encouraged to bring old clothes to print designs onto (ACG will also provide items to print on).

All youth between the ages of 13 - 18 are invited to attend.

The workshop is free, and there is limited space in order to foster a proactive learning environment. Registration is REQUIRED. No prior knowledge or experience in the arts nor topic of specific workshop is necessary. Please include a valid email with registration.

If you have someone younger interested, please email Emily at operations@albanycentergallery.org
