On behalf of our staff, Board of Directors, Gala Committee, and all members of our community, we graciously invite you to join us as a business donor for Albany Center Gallery’s (ACG) 2018 Keep It Surreal Gala. The event will be held on Saturday, November 17th from 7 to 11 p.m.. By donating a product or service for our Gala Auction, your local business will be taking an active role in keeping visual art alive in a revitalized downtown Albany, while contributing firsthand to our region’s rich culture, economic livelihood, and history. 

We anticipate over 250 guests who will share in the spirit of art appreciation and enjoy live music, entertainment, auction items (including specially selected art by local artists throughout the region), raffles, beverages, and great food. ACG will also present the Mona Ruth Brickman Memorial Artist of the Year Award and the Les Urbach Lifetime Achievement Award during the evening’s event.
 
The Gallery presents contemporary art exhibitions featuring all media, with a focus on innovative works that challenge the standard of today’s art. Our reach extends beyond the walls of the Gallery into the community through public art projects in partnership with the City of Albany’s Special Events office, and various other programs including but not limited to: children’s learning activities, “Downtown is Pawsome,” Art on Lark, Black Arts & Cultural Festival, our #CapitalWalls mural movement, and the Times Union Center Home Expo. Through these pursuits, the Gallery consistently reaches over 55,000 individuals yearly. 

To ensure your business name appears in the Gala invitation as a donor, please complete and return the Auction Donor Form (click to download) along with your donation or call the Gallery no later than September 25. The deadline for recognition in the program book is October 26. You will also receive recognition as a donor on ACG’s website and on signage at the Gala.
