Cairo-Durham students selected for regional art exhibition

"The Cairo-Durham High School Art Department announces that Xxaria Makely, grade 12; Brianna Schermerhorn, grade 12; and James Mutinsky, 11 had work selected for the 22nd Annual High School Regional Juried Art Exhibition. Xxaria, Brianna and James are among 100 high school students who were chosen to participate in the annual art exhibition. New Murals Unveiled In Downtown Albany

"The murals seen on Broadway and Columbia Street are the result of a $72,000 grant from the state’s Downtown Revitalization Initiative to the Capital Walls project, which plans to add four murals to the Clinton Square neighborhood. New York State Assemblymember Pat Fahy was among several Capital Region officials at the unveiling Tuesday. She says the works couldn’t have come at a better time."
