Times Union | Dorothy Englander's solo show at Albany Center Gallery

"There are prints, drawings, paintings, and a few small sculptures by this artist, who has been making art and exhibiting it in the area since the 1980s. The whole gamut is here in this retrospective, most having some basis in nature and organic forms.

"What this proves is a fascination with the inner workings of expression, and ways of getting different results with finesse. And the works keep a tactile sense of her hand, her physical interpretation of the world. These are what make the show."
