About the Artist Mentor: Va’Ceia, a passionate fashion designer, began her journey from a young age, inspired by art and fashion. Transitioning from a high school project on the 1920s to creating her brand, Va’Ceia Designs, she has made a mark in the industry. Her unique garments, influenced by social justice causes and African countries, have garnered international recognition. Apart from her creative work, Va’Ceia gives back by teaching fashion courses to children, emphasizing the importance of storytelling in design. Her dedication to mentoring stems from her own struggles, reflecting her commitment to passing on knowledge and inspiring the next generation of designers.

All youth between the ages of 13-18 are invited to attend. The workshops are free, and there is limited space in order to foster a proactive learning environment. Registration is REQUIRED. No prior knowledge or experience in the arts nor topic of specific workshops is necessary. Please include a valid email with registration, as we will be reaching out to you for sharing logistics and waiver details.
