On behalf of our regional artists, staff, Board of Directors, Gala Committee, and all members of our community, we graciously invite you to join us as a business donor for Albany Center Gallery’s (ACG) 2017 Future 40 Gala. By donating a product or service for our Gala Auction, your local business will be taking an active role in keeping visual art alive in a revitalized downtown Albany, while contributing firsthand to our region’s rich culture, economic livelihood, and history.

Thanks to community support and people like you, ACG has had the privilege of being at the forefront of our region’s art scene for 40 years. As we plan for the next 40 years, we hope for your continued support.

ACG’s Future 40 Gala will be held from 7 – 11 p.m. on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at the Renaissance Albany Hotel located at 144 State Street, Albany, NY 12207. We anticipate over 250 guests who will share in the spirit of art appreciation and enjoy live music, entertainment, auction items (including specially selected art by local artists throughout the region), raffles, great food, and drink. ACG will also present the Mona Ruth Brickman Artist of the Year Award and the Les Urbach Lifetime Achievement Award during the evening’s event.  

The Gallery presents contemporary art exhibitions featuring all media, with a focus on imaginative works that challenge the standard of today’s art. Our reach extends beyond the walls of the Gallery into the community through our mural program, community art projects in partnership with the City of Albany’s Special Events office, and various other programs including: children’s learning activities, “Sculpture in the Streets,” Art on Lark, Black Arts & Cultural Fest, and the Times Union Center Home Expo. Through these pursuits, the Gallery consistently reaches over 55,000 individuals yearly.

To ensure your business name appears in the Gala invitation as a donor, please complete and return the Auction Donor Form along with your donation, or call the Gallery no later than September 26th. The deadline for recognition in the program book is October 27th.  You will also receive recognition as a donor on ACG’s website and on signage at the Gala.
